CARF-CCAC accreditation is widely regarded as the mark of quality for senior living communities and aging services providers. It is an important evaluation tool when considering your retirement options.
This designation is awarded by CARF-CCAC (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and Continuing Care Accreditation Commission), an independent accrediting body affiliated with LeadingAge.
The Osborn earned this distinction by meeting or exceeding standards of excellence in three critical areas:
- Resident health and wellness, including activities and services
- Governance and administration
- Financial strength and strategic direction
Accreditation is a rigorous voluntary process involving extensive self-evaluation by the community’s staff, residents, clients and board of directors, and on-site reviews by trained CARF-CCAC evaluators. In addition, it includes a mandatory financial review to verify solvency and long-term viability.
The Osborn is one of the few communities nationwide to receive CARF-CCAC accreditation, which recognizes the highest standards in administration, finance, care and services to seniors.
