For founder Miriam Osborn, ensuring support and care for others was more than just a dream. She left a portion of her estate to carry out her vision. After her death in 1891, friend and attorney John Sterling, helped by renowned architect Bruce Price, brought The Osborn to life. The first residents moved into the magnificent neo-Georgian style residence in April 1908.
Our vision and commitment to quality
The Osborn’s commitment to senior adults is the foundation of the organization’s vision: to be the senior living community that best understands and satisfies the continuing care needs of men and women 65 and older.
Board of trustees
The Osborn Board of Trustees comprises a dedicated group of corporate and civic leaders. They govern and guide the not-for-profit community in the delivery of exceptional programs and services.
According to Mark R. Zwerger, The Osborn’s CEO, “Commitment to quality is the underlying principle that guides the board and staff of The Osborn. It can be seen in our commitment to quality health care, commitment to our residents and commitment to our community.”
