Residents choose from studio and one-bedroom apartments, each equipped with a full bathroom, kitchenette, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning. They receive daily personal care services from Osborn Home Care, The Osborn’s own licensed home care agency, as well as three meals a day, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry and all utilities.

Assisted living apartments are handicap-accessible and include a 24-hour emergency response system staffed by medical professionals. For round-the-clock support, The Osborn’s Assisted Living program offers QuietCare®, the state-of-the-art motion detection system. Featuring advanced GE Healthcare technology, QuietCare® provides real-time, private reporting to dedicated staff, ensuring residents’ safety and comfort, and improving quality of life.

There are no entrance fees for assisted living in Westchester through The Osborn. A monthly service fee provides the apartment and all services and amenities, as well as access to long-term care at The Osborn Pavilion.

Services Tailored to the Individual

The Osborn’s continuing care and in-depth case management are two of the most important factors that set our Assisted Living program apart from others. A team of nurses, social workers and certified home health aides work together to develop a personalized care plan for each resident. They offer help with daily living activities, and coordinate each resident’s health care services, both on and off campus. They make medical appointments, arrange transportation, and communicate with physicians about required medications and ongoing care.

TOur team of professionals also conducts regular assessments of assisted living residents to review safety and health considerations. For example, they might recommend a certain program of exercise or change in diet or activity to improve the resident’s health and overall quality of life.
