The Osborn welcomes candidates to come in and complete an application on Tuesdays, from 9 am to 3 pm for both onsite and Home Care positions. Unfortunately, there are times when we are not able to hold walk in hours due to space or staffing issues. Must be a NYS HHA. Prior experience in Assisted Living setting preferred.
Osborn Home Care
The Companion is responsible for providing caring companionship and conversation to the client. A companion promotes the physical and emotional well-being of the client. A companion enables clients to maintain their accustomed lifestyle and independence, helping make life more productive and enjoyable. Must have HHA, CNA or Medical Assistant training previously
FT Mon-Fri– Responsible for the coordination and management of all services rendered to community clients and supervise nursing and other care staff personnel. Must possess current NYS & CT RN License.
Perform assigned cleaning in resident apartments/rooms which includes kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and any other living space
Osborn Home Care
The Community Home Health Aide is responsible for providing personal care services, home services and other related home health supportive services as directed by the Plan of Care.
Assisted Living & Nursing
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care and administering medications and treatments within their scope of practice, to patients in their place of residence. Experience in Assisted Living setting preferred.
Responsibilities include making rounds of plant, preforming preventative maintenance, responding to service calls, and assisting security when needed. Must be knowledge with plumbing, electric and HVAC.
The Music Therapist at The Osborn plans and lead music programs for all three levels at The Osborn. The Music Therapist’s role is to conduct individual and group music activities of a fun, creative, educational, cognitive and Therapeutic nature, in an atmosphere of friendship and enthusiasm, meeting the special needs and skill levels of the residents in the Assisted Living, Pavilion and HOPE Center, with reporting and record keeping for the Departments required.
The Porter at The Osborn performs housekeeping tasks in public and common areas. Any special requests require the approval of the Director of Environmental Services.
Must be NYS RN, prior exp. in SNF preferred.
Responsible for smooth and professional service of all dining rooms and catered affairs.
