Dr. Paul Eugene P. Lleva

Presenter: Dr. Paul Eugene P. Lleva

Dr. Lleva is the Director of Stroke Services at White Plains Hospital. He is board-certified in Neurology, Vascular Neurology, Neurosonology, and Internal Medicine. Prior to joining WPHPA, Dr. Lleva was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at Yale School of Medicine and New York Medical College. He also practiced as a Vascular and General Neurologist at Greenwich Hospital, where he served as the Medical Director of Stroke. Dr. Lleva received his medical degree cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in the Philippines. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine and in Neurology at Westchester Medical Center (WMC), where he was named Chief Neurology Resident. Furthermore, he completed an ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology fellowship at WMC and received special training in Neurosonology at Wake Forest Medical Center.

Dr. Rafael Uribe

Presenter: Dr. Rafael Uribe

Dr. Uribe is a neurosurgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of brain tumors. He completed his medical degree at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, followed by a residency in neurosurgery at Hospital Universitario San Ignacio in Bogotá, Colombia. He relocated to the United States and received a Master of Health Science in Clinical Investigation from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University , followed by a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He went on to complete further fellowships in pediatric, minimally invasive endoscopic, and epilepsy surgery at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center , as well as a fellowship in endoscopic skull base and pituitary surgery. To satisfy his credentialing in neurosurgery in the United States, he then completed a residency in neurosurgery at the same institution.
