What is the difference between Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation?

Skilled Nursing at The Osborn provides ongoing medical care and supervision by licensed healthcare professionals. Rehabilitation focuses on therapies designed to help individuals recover mobility, strength, and independence after an injury, illness, or surgery. Rehabilitation at The Osborn offers fully equipped services, such as short-term and outpatient rehabilitation programs for flexibility with residents’ schedules.

Does The Osborn offer short-term Rehabilitation?

Yes, The Osborn offers short-term inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services through The Pasciuti Pavilion in Rye, NY, and includes personalized care plans developed by our professional multidisciplinary team. Rehabilitation at The Osborn is designed for individuals recovering from surgery, injury, stroke, or other medical conditions.

Does The Osborn accept Medicare Advantage plans?

Yes, The Osborn accepts Medicare Advantage plans after a three-night qualifying stay in a hospital. The Osborn does not accept Medicaid as a payment source, but does accept Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, and most commercial insurance plans dependent on coverage and applicable copays.

How do I pay for my stay in The Osborn Pascuiti Pavilion? 

For short-term rehabilitation, you will need a 3-night qualifying stay in a hospital.  After that, we accept Medicare, Medicare Advantage and most commercial insurance plans with respective copays per the insurance plans. Private pay is available for long term (permanent residency), or if you wish to stay beyond your approved amount by the insurance company. We do not accept Medicaid as a payment source.

What are visiting hours in The Osborn Pasciuti Pavilion? 

Visitor entry to The Osborn Pasciuti Pavilion is available, 24 hours, 7 days a week. However, out of respect for other residents, we strongly recommend that visitors exit the building by 8 PM nightly.
