Join us for a lovely night of music with an Orchestra Lumos string quartet featuring Robert Zubrycki, violin; Lisa Tipton, violin; Adria Benjamin, viola; and Peter Sanders, cello. Mozart revered Joseph Haydn as a mentor and close friend. In 1785, Mozart dedicated six string quartets to Haydn, calling him his “best friend” and asking him to be a “father, guide, and friend” to his musical works. This program includes works by both composers, so audiences can hear how they influenced each other musically.
