Dr. Jiyon Chung, associate medical director and physician at White Plains Hospital, will discuss how to successfully navigate a complicated healthcare system at higher levels of care and ways to be an effective advocate for yourself or a loved one. Dr. Chung is the Associate Medical Director at White Plains Hospital. She received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed residency training from Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. She started her first career as an Internal Medicine board certified hospitalist at White Plains Hospital in 2010. Currently, she leads the inpatient team to streamline the patient experience into a more efficient, safe, and satisfying one from admission to discharge.
