Yes, it's that time of year again. No not the holidays, it's the time of year when falls occur most. Falls! I have even logged my first fall of the season. Thankfully that foot of snow broke my fall, no pun intended. Obviously fall injuries rise throughout most of our country during the winter months due to snow and ice creating slippery conditions. Both outdoor and indoor falls also create problems, with injuries that are sometimes extremely difficult to recover from, especially the older we get. In the NYT, Jane E. Brody dug deep to explain "How to Prevent Falls" which could save us both personally and financially.
