Each year during the month of January, the medical community seeks to enlighten the public about thyroid issues. Millions of people live with them, but remain undiagnosed and untreated.
What is it that gets people sick? Is it getting coughed on when you are food shopping? Touching a door handle? How do you stay well? What about older people? It could be any number of issues, especially this time of year when colds and flu are running rampant. We all know those people who “never” get sick! Why is that? Karen Weintraub explains in NYT, “Does a ‘Strong' Immune System Ward Off Colds and Flu?” that there are many different factors to consider!
