What's Happening on Good Living with Michele Thomas on Tuesday, February 6th

Refresh your coffee and tune to AM1490WGCH on Tuesday, February 6th for a compelling show on Good Living.   Michele will be sitting down with Kerry C. Mills, MPA of Engaging Alzheimer's LLC.   Kerry has been working in the Alzheimer's field for many years where her goal is to change the public perception of the disease.  She knows one of the most important pieces to this journey for the families can be education and training.   

Back in early 2011, Kerry decided to start her own company, Engaging Alzheimer's LLC.   Kerry wanted to offer her experience and expertise to families with loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer's and related dementias.  She works to educate professional caregivers as well.  Due to Kerry's training, she is also certified by several medical associations to teach her care strategies to healthcare professionals for CEU credits.

While people with Alzheimer's disease are at varying degrees on the spectrum, Kerry reminds us the person's individuality is still intact and their passions can be seen with a little bit of caring, time and creativity.

Kerry has published several books and is a regular guest on radio.  She also appeared on PBS and CBS television with Dr. Max Gomez.
