How Do I Avoid Catching Cold or Flu From My Sick Partner?

What happens when your spouse or someone else in your household comes down with a cold – or worse, the flu!!! Is there a way to avoid getting sick besides vacating the premises entirely!!  Avoiding close contact still doesn’t guarantee you safe passage through the “sick zone.”  Given the severity of flu season this year, with plenty of time still left, we must do everything we can to protect ourselves if we end up having sick family members.  In a recent NY Times article by Karen Weintraub “How Do I Avoid Catching Cold or Flu From My Sick Partner” you will find helpful tips to have a shot at staying healthy during a challenging cold and flu season.
